Government Polytechnic Mahabubnagar, Telangana, is a state-run college which got established in the year of 1956, with only 3 diploma courses initially (DCE, DEEE, DME). Now, it offers 5 Diploma courses (DAE, DCE, DECE, DEEE, and DME) recognised by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated with SBTET Telangana. Admission to this reputed college is strictly entrance-based and admissions will be allotted on the basis of ranks secured by the students in the TS POLYCET (Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test). All the admission proceedings are taken care by the Department of Technical Education operating under the State Government of Telangana.
